Doggie Central Classes
We offer small group dog training classes in our 3500 square foot indoor classroom. We haveobedience and manners classes for puppies just starting out and older dogs.
We also offer agility and trick classes for the enjoyment of both dogs and the owners. Class size is limited to 8 dogs so everyone gets the attention they deserve.
- Group Classes-Manners, Puppy, Agility and Dog Tricks
Jonathan’s group class curriculum has been completely revised over the last two years. The Manners Class is offered for dogs over five months and a Puppy Class is for dogs less than 5 months. The classes are designed to encourage people to participate in the class sessions and to incorporate the lessons in their day-to-day interaction with their dogs.
- Manners
The Manners Series for dogs over five months is the key to having a happy dog and happy household. The classes cover basic obedience lessons an
d common behavior problems. (High maintenance, special needs, and aggressive dogs are encouraged to enroll in individual training programs.) Written summaries of each class make it easy to practice what you learned. - Puppy
If your dog is between two and five months, the Puppy Series is the ideal way to socialize your dog and to avoid problems before they occur. We meet six times prior to the Manners Series and cover the same lessons with methods geared towards the puppy’s formative and most critical months. Emphasis is made on how to avoid problems before they occur and on laying a foundation for having a easy to manage dog. - Agility
The Agility Class is an obstacle and confidence building course. We learn new obstacles each week and ultimately the dogs run through the whole set of agility obstacles. It always proves to be a load of fun for both the dogs and the owners. Both you and your dogs will love this one!.jpg)
- Tricks
The Trick Class is a way to have more fun with your dog and to teach a way to interact with your dog on a really positive level. Tricks range from silly ones like beg, roll over and dance to handy ones like get the paper, go to your place, catch and speak on command.Group classes are offered regularly throughout the year.
