Doggie Central Training
Here at Doggie Central we offer dog training. There are two choices, we can train your dog for you while it stays for day care or boarding or you can bring your dog and work with our trainers in either individual or group class settings.
Jonathan Klein brought his well-established training business into Doggie Central in 2003. Since then he has worked with Faith to create a training program and environment that really works. He has a great office, reception area and an indoor and real life outdoor training space.
Services We Offer
We train your dog for you
Daily intensive training is the quickest way to get your dog under control. Daily training is ideal if you don’t have time to give lessons each day or if you want to see a magical transformation into a “different dog”. The biggest advantage is that the training is regular and consistent.
Additionally owners don’t need to learn to become dog trainers, they just need to reinforce what has already been taught. The four-week daily program includes training for your dog and follow-up appointments with you so your dog will learn to mind you. We meet before, during and after the training to address behavior problems and practice the lessons.
We make special arrangements for dogs in training programs according to Jonathan’s instructions, based on the needs of the particular dog. Dogs get structured boarding, individual training and quiet time as well as group cage-free time on the play floors. Want your dog to stay in his own environment? Daily in-home training can be arranged.
We teach you to train your dog
You can learn how to train your dog through our weekly Private Training Series for Dogs and Puppies. You and your dog work with the trainer once a week for six weeks. The great advantage of individual private training is that the trainer teaches your dog the lessons so they learn quickly and learn it right the first time. Then you know exactly what to practice and incorporate into your day-to-day activity with your dog at home between the lessons. Appointments are made according to client’s individual schedule and times can be flexible.
If your dog is between two and five months, the Puppy Series is the ideal way to socialize your dog and to avoid problems before they occur.
To sign up for training ask at the reception desk when you drop off your dog. For more information on Jonathan, “I Said Sit!” and the training programs please click here to go to the “I Said Sit!” Website.
